Although I agree with most of what you say concerning the question of "who is the real conservative, Mitt or Newt?", (I agree neither, at least based on 80's definition), I have more optimism than to think we will never again elect a true blue conservative. I have to to have that hope Barn, or I'll go stick my head in the oven.
But the reality with what I'd call "true conservatives" all but out of the race, it seems that the conservative ideology is on life support. This year, of all years, I thought a true conservative would have shined like a Regis cleaned toilet.
(sigh) maybe you're right Barn. Here I come oven.
