And knives? I had one pulled on me thee times when I worked in Hulme/Moss Side in the late 70's. Difference is now that people are more likely to use them straight off rather than threaten. Why? Because they're off their tits on drugs or making a pitch for cred in their gangs...which are mostly drug gangs.

I wrote a paper on County Lines for a major crime fighting organisation quite a few years ago and have watched that sort of organised drug running spread scarily right across society.

That's the big problem we've got these days in my opinion.
