Yeah at the minute it's very much a 'trust me I'm 15' system.

This is much less a conspiracy theory than the covid stuff. It's the way it's going. When this comes in, all adults will need to provide id if they want to use social media. It will soon spread to other areas.
It's not just a handful of people saying it.. Mall discussions online I've seen, the majority of people are saying the same thing.

The public consultation for this ended on the 26th May. There is no way they have reviewed and debated properly the public feedback since then, it was a foregone conclusion.
