When a goalkeeper goes down injured the opposing captain should be able to nominate which player goes off instead of the keeper.
When a player goes down injured, players shouldn't be allowed to go over to the dugouts.
A player who is in the middle of the field will struggle to get off in ten seconds. Even more so, in the case of an injured player. In a case of multiple substitutions, the fourth official often wastes more time than the players putting the details into the board.
It's not clear from that, how long the referee will wait before starting the countdown on goal kicks and throw ins - this will lead to a lot of inconsistency.
Using a "ball in play" timer would eliminate a lot of these issues.
For me, a more important issue to look at is fouling at corners. This should be clamped down on. It was threatened that this would happen before but it never happened (except for Scott Cuthbert v Blackpool and Teden Mengi v Everton).
