The point that many are overlooking is that we have players on Premier League contracts and we are now a League One club.

That's an accounting nightmare, especially as several of those players (Adebayo, Nakamba, Brown) can't actually play while probably costing more than a quarter of a million quid a month between them.

The parachute payments are covering this financial disaster (which is the intention of them). The £40m Premier League parachute isn't for spending on international strikers on more big wages.
