Not entirely. The world has changed massively since then and the use (and security) of data has to be a major concern.

We are very vulnerable to cyber-attack anyhow, as a nation and as individuals.

Quantum computing adds endless extra layers to that threat, and is a real and present danger from malign players like China and Russia.

I'm highly aware of that having written some lengthy reports on the subject. Quite chilling how vulnerable we are.

I don't think what happened around 80 years ago is at the forefront of the national psyche to be honest, just old gippers like us!
