The building industry is as crooked as most industries.
Builders have been cheating on building "affordable" homes since the scheme was brought in.
It was reported yesterday that the top 7 builders made a donation towards "affordable housing" because they were caught sharing information which is against the competition rules.

Basically they said " here have a bung, and let us get on with being corrupt".

Affordable housing is not affordable to most anyway.

Housing has been in crisis for years, brought on by the utter greed of the big builders, who only build for the highest mark ups, Sit on huge land banks, stopping building when the margins go down.

We have under built deliberately to keep prices high for the last 40 yrs.
