At the beginning of WW2 Mr Wilson was living at 7 Guion Road, Litherland. That house no longer stands and there is a gap in that road now with numbers 7-11 missing.
Wilson died in 1940, aged 55. I can’t help but put 1 and 1 together and make 3 here and wonder if the house was hit by a bomb in the blitz and Wilson died of his injuries.
I can’t find any record online to confirm that these houses were bombed. I don’t suppose anyone has any insights into this story.
