Ken Thanks, for the post as I was sharing information from recall and had forgotten that the fore iron strap had also been lengthened when the base was widened. Like I noted earlier, yours is the first and only example of the "three screw" escutcheon I've seen; but that said, I did notice the notched anchor screw in the early photo and simply assumed it to be just another example of a "boogered-up" screw. Who knows but perhaps the fore iron strap was lengthened to eliminate the need to index the machine threaded anchor screw?
