Sometimes we get really hung-up over originality, and one minor little issue causes us to pass on an otherwise excellent gun. One can still find original ivory beads on eBay; tell the dealer to take the danged thing off, then replace them with new ivories found on eBay or in a gun where after the gun is in your hand. Even if you took that action, would the gun ever be any less desirable knowing that its original ivory bead had been broken? In this case, even though broken by the dealer, I don't think so; heck, dealers regularly break/lose barrel beads in handling guns from show to show.
