Nick, I recommend that you send this gun to Jerry Andrews in Moundsville, WV. He can check and repair this "Elsie" to shootable condition. There are many of us that shoot target loads in our Damascus and laminated steel barrels but we all have them checked by a reputable gunsmith first. Your first moment of "appreciation" will soon turn into an obsession with these fine SxS.
