    Definately get the barrel walls measured along w/bore. Then, you can make an informed decision. That really goes for any LC..steel or damascus IMHO.

    If you think you'll be in this situation again, barrel wall gauges are nice to have around. They are not expensive and fairly easy to make.

    O's are interesting to me too. Lots of changes from start to end..checkering, barrels, engraving, and forends.
