Options: 1. Barrel lining was attempted by a couple of smiths in England but the effort abandoned; it was reported related to difficulty with bonding the liner. 2. Barrel sleeving is performed by several smiths in the U.S. and will cost about $2500, far more than the gun will be worth. They will however add weight to the barrels. 4. Have the barrels evaluated by a doublegun specialist smith.
