I recently saw several Smiths for sale that had damascus barrels. I am interested in purchasing one but I am a bit hesitant with the damascus barrels for fear of having a rupture or worse. I already shot RST loads in my doubles; however, none of them are damascus. I am interested in knowing if anyone else shots with damascus barrels and in learning the process in which to determine if the barrels are safe. Can anyone offer some insight? Thanks
