i recently acquired a shotgun i believe is an old lc smith the water table has the number 54825 stamped on it and the forearm has 54823. the barrel has "new era gun works new york nitro hammerless" the underside just in front of the trigger guard has an engraving of a duck in flight with patented aug 12, 1884 around it, i was wondering if anyone knows anything about this gun.

if you need photos can i send them to an email?
