Mike, that sounds good. I have never shot a round of skeet. I just stopped by Bill's shop and talked to his assistant. Bill is there from 5:00 until 8:00 in the evenings so I will stop back by then. The guy I talked to said he has a couple dozen guns already waiting in line. Functionally my gun has no problems but I would like to have it cleaned and bedded before I shoot it, and the stock shouldn't be exposed to inclimate weather until it is protected. My Elsie is newer and has has long chambers but I will shoot short shells. I already have to load 2 1/2" cartridges for one sixteen gauge gun and my only other one has 2 9/16" chambers so I just load 7/8 ounce in the short hulls for both.
