    Welcome Snipe Hunter!

I live in Tallahassee and Bill Alexander worked on my 1919 Elsie featherweight specialty grade a year ago. Bill is kinda' slow, but I understand he is retired from his state job and doing gunsmithing full time. Short version, Bill checked my gun out completely and replaced a recoil pad with one that is historically correct. He also replaced a broken firing pin, checked the stock at the neck for cracks - there were none. I would recommend him and see how long it would take for him to do what you want. He had my gun for six months. Incidently, I shoot skeet at Coon Bottom gun club and sometimes use my Elsie with Polywad Vintager Doublewides. Great Fun! The Elsie is also my favorite quail gun! Maybe we can compare Elsies and shoot a round of skeet.
