    Floyd,
Let me share my experience with you and it might help. First get your barrels checked by a gunsmith as stated. Do you have a CABELA'S near you or can you order on line? They have shells called PURE GOLD imported from England, 12 ga. 2 1/2 inch and only 6,000 lbs. pressure. I shot these recently in a very clean damascus barrel gun with no problem. These shells are high ,$11 per box, but not bad if you only need a few boxes. Plus if you don't have to buy reducers, you will save a great deal. Good luck. David R
