It's settled! I ended up picking Rem. 209P primers, RXP20 7/8oz wads, 7 1/2 mag lead shot and a digital scale at the reloading supply today so I can reload the Alliant recipe for 7525 psi and 1050 fps. I really wanted to be at 1200 fps, but I can't find any recipes using STS hulls that will keep the pressure under 8500 psi and reach that speed. I loaded some 9 shot in that recipe this evening and will try them in my Baikal tomorrow.
Intestingly, the guy there told me I need to be more concerned with load size rather than pressure and I actually think I felt my brain cease for a second. There is so much info the weed through and I didn't even get the gun yet!
