Dan: With all due respect to Jessica, there just ain't no such thing as a "transition gun" from the quality to the named grade guns of the 1912-1913 era. They are all clearly marked; and in your case, the gun is clearly marked Trap Grade atop both barrels and on the frame. As I said, your gun is a legitimate Trap Grade. See if you can secure a copy of the shipping ledger page, as these old hand-written entries are often difficult to read; but even if the entry is clearly Ideal someone just made a mistake, either thru haste or carelessness.
