SGT, The engraving is the Trap style. I used Brophy's book page 106-108 to compare the Ideal-Trap. If you notice the Trap has the engraving that "laps" over the lock and frame on the front of the lock. While this could have been added after the change it is the Trap style. The same with the top tang/lever. Also the lower tang is the Trap style. Also the narrow part of the receiver below the water table. The gun does not have the original stock. Both barrels are Crown Steel with an fancy style Trap on the right barrel and "Hunter Arms Co Mfr's Fulton NY" on the left. The picture shows the Trap style engraving on the receiver. The breech balls and the flat spot behind the balls are the Trap style. Do You agree?
