In adding to what Revdocdrew said. Blue Book of Gun Values 26th Edition (2006). If gun is in 60%, barrels have no rust, bores are clean, wood is good, no chips, big dents. Sideplates (locks) have some case color left. Say condition over all is 60%, value would be $600.00 plus 300% for a .410 = $2,400. Saying that the second barrel is serial numbered to the gun (would have a #2 stamped on the water table.) and that barrel is in good shape, I would add another $800-$1,000 just because it is a .410. Even if it wasn't serial numbered to the gun, I would still bring a lot.
If the pitting isn't too bad, it would definitely make sense to have it re-finished.
At some auctions .410's are bringing $4,000-$6,000 in decent shape with out an extra barrel. In this case it would be worth it to get a letter from the Cody Museum ($50.00?) and it would tell if the gun came with the extra barrel and to whom it was shipped to or if it was sent back to the factory later and made. If it was shipped with the extra barrel and if it was refinished (not cheap) you could ask your own price, but it is a refinished gun.
Your best bet would be to take it to a good gun appraiser.
Good luck and keep us posted.
