    George,
You may not have felt it, but you may have just been bitten by the BUG. The LC Smith Shotgun bug that is.
Your serial number dates your shotgun to 1922. You have already discovered that it is a field grade, and the fact that it is marked Armor Steel Barrels means that they are not Damascus Steel which is good for reasons you'll discover as you learn more about old shotguns. We have a resident wizzard who frequents this forum who will chime in when he reads your post if he knows of a good double gunsmith in your area. In the mean time gather up whatever parts that you may have acquired and put em in a safe place. You're golden in you have all the parts. Also resign yourself to get her put back together as soon as possible and follow up with your original plan. You'll definately want to shoot light loads, and if you use the search engine on this site, you can come up with a wide variety of readily available amunition that will be easy on you shoulder as well as your 85 year old wood. Good luck-John
