I've never heard of/seen a Smith hammer/ejector gun, and I don't think ejectors were ever offered as an option on the hammergun; so, if you've got one, we would surely appreciate some photos and details (that said, I see no reason why Hunter could not have made hammer ejector guns since the ejector mechanism is totally housed in the forearm.) Based on the limited data you supplied, I would also guess that your gun is a Field Grade ejector gun. If your gun is a post-1913 piece, the grade will be roll-stamped atop the barrels (Field, Ideal, Trap, etc); look there first. If not, cock the gun; then remove the forearm and barrels. Once that is done, give us a full description of all numbers and stamps on the frame; from that data we can then provide a ship date and grade.
