Jerry: you might check this previous thread http://members.boardhost.com/lcsmith/msg/1162499006.html LCs have a strong action (the pressure issue) BUT can have problems with wood cracking around the side plates with excessive recoil. I would suggest limiting psi to 8000 and loads to 1 oz at 1200 fps unless you are blessed to have found a "Extra Range Wildfowl." Another option is to have a stock specialist glass bed the head of the stock and around the side plates but I'd still forget the Fiocchi GP boomers.
