Newbie, I think the only place lead is banned is for waterfowl, and as Dr. Bill said, you will only ruin it sooner or later by shooting steel loads. You should only be shooting low-pressure shells anyway so that you don't harm it. Keep the pressures (psi) down below 8,000 psi. and you will be fine.
