    Yeah my first case was a fella who abused a young disabled lad who lived next door to the parents and become friendly with. He used to take him out and look after him to give the parents a break.

    It was quite unpleasant at times but you're focused on the evidence and the case so it was reasonably easy to keep the emotions to one side. We found the fella guilty and he was sent down for 5 years. The jury I was on were all sound and only really at the point that we all decided on the verdict did it get a little emotional. I found it a really rewarding experience.

    Second time out was bit fractured because it was just getting restarted after COVID. Got on one case, a county lines drug case, that was dropped because of a lack of evidence. Load of shite.
