It's not Everton as such, it's my love for so called 'elite' football in general that has diminished.

It was once a very open competition, at both ends of the table. The league winners would sometimes come from seemingly nowhere, 'big' teams would sometimes go down, and the league cup and of course the FA Cup in particular were always full of genuine surprises right through to the final itself.

Now it's just predictable, manufactured, orchestrated shite.
