Nailed it, the onus is on the players to get the fans going, not the other way round. The playing squad seem to have the attitude that the home fans should be like the away fans and are upset that they aren’t, which is bonkers. Away games are for the most hardcore and they are on a day out on the ale so it’s a party atmosphere. Expecting 50k home fans to be the same is unreasonable.

There’s defo rose tinted specs when it comes to goodison, people who say it would have been bouncing last night are seeing it through the lens lf palace survival game, dyche derby etc, not a standard Bournemouth at home, when goodison was usually flat too (obviously not the Doucs survival game like).
