Since clubs have been building these newer stadia, I think the atmosphere has dropped off considerably in them all. The Emirates, Eastlands, even Old Trafford and the tin mine, have been accused of being dead with little atmosphere.
I think it's the brand of football played these days isn't conducive to creating a good atmosphere. Slow methodical build up, passing it around, zero pace etc. It doesn't get people off their seats and excited. The Premier League has created this and modern fans have nothing to get on board with.
