I’ve said before on here, I work on a refugee project and have many colleagues who’ve become friends who are refugees. With family members and friends who have half a brain and an ounce of compassion, I would challenge them and set them straight on the reality of the situation.

I’ve binned a fair acquaintance’s off from social media and never engage them with conversations around the subject because their mind has been made up and they are happy to join in with the hate.

The other week, a bloke I know posted on FB about sinking the boats in the channel including a picture of women and kids. He got lots of support and likes etc. His following post was a picture of a couple of glasses of wine with the words ‘Be Happy People’.

In short, people are cunts.
