I don't dismiss you theory, your probably right but I don't care how poor or shit your life is, thumping someone who is trying to help you is an absolute disgrace and should still be treated as such.

The only people who I'm fine with being rude to who are in any way remotely linked to the NHS are GP receptionist who act like they have a medical degree, the keys to the NHS and the telephone manner of a serial killer, this is a surprisingly large number of them.
