The Assassin - Prime. Started quite well for about one and a bit episodes, but fook me, it tailed off badly, and looked as if even the actors had started getting bored with the whole thing, phoning it in. I'm not a bad language prude by any stretch, and love a good swear, but you just don't speak like that with your parents surely? Fitting that the last line was 'fucking shit tons'. Special mention to the dreadful acting of the dude that played the autistic doctor in The Good Doctor (so many posh foppish wannabe millennial Hugh Grants about these days), and also Jim Robinson out of Neighbours' son, who managed an overacting masterclass. 3/10.

Detective Suprenant - All4 (Walter Presents). French/Canadian copper goes back to his old Nova Scotia island to get away from his past, where he thinks he was responsible for a death of a colleague. Choc full of cliches, a very bleak island full of six-fingered oddballs who love waving a gun or a rifle around. Seen it all before in many different iterations of the same thing. 5/10.
