THIS.....it's time we stopped making excuses for them, urging patience from our own fans when we all know how these things usually pan out and patience isn't rewarded.

It's also time to stop the 'oh well its a difficult market, we aren't in europe/one of the big six/blah blah blah nonsense. Other clubs bigger and smaller than us don't seem to have the same issue with signing players season after season. True they might have the odd summer of struggle, but they generally get their business done more times than not, whilst we seem to perennially drag our feet no matter who's in charge and how much money the club supposedly has in its 'warchest'.

After season's of struggle and watching shyt the fans look to the summer months as a time of hope, a time of seeing that things are going to be different.....the only thing Everton seem to be consistantly good at is dampening those hopes as each summer starts to draw to a close.
