I would imagine that the "Stopgap" players will be the ones we get in on loan to be honest, I don't want us to get into the same position we were where there are bang average players on long and expensive contracts.
The 4 we have signed so far all seem to be with the long term in mind, and that's a good thing, they may not all work out of course, no team gets them all right, but at least they are trying.
maybe another 1 or 2 of this ilk before we start chasing experienced players for the numbers.
In an ideal world they would have done most of the signings by now, but we don't live in an ideal world and as long as there is progress being made behind the scenes im not getting fresh bedsheets ready yet.
