Been suffering with it for 11 months. Seen a rheumatoid arthritis consultant and he upped the allopurinol dose from 400mg to 800mg per day. Thing is allopurinol always brings a new attack in a diffrent joint. He has also upped the colchicine to 500 micrograms to be taken with the allopurinol twice a day. I don't know whether to take the allopurinol for fear of it bringing another episode on.
