Hi, I am seeking help to find the birth /baptism record of George Harris - I have found nothing on Findmypast and multiple other search engines. I am also trying to find a manifest/passenger list for the entire family around 1841-1843 from I would assume Bideford to Pictou/ Nova Scotia, Canada. This may be completely futile but I am still trying. I appreciate any help offered.
George Harris dob March 01, 1841 Bideford, England area? Father- Samuel Harris dob July 07, 1805 certified baptism found in Clifford Parish registry. Herefordshire record office Mother- Eliza Harris dob January 03,1819 certified baptism found for St Mary’s Parish church in Bideford through Southwest Heritage Trust Parent’s marriage certificate found for St Mary’s Parish church in Bideford September 09,1839. Grandparents - Robert Goss and Ann Lowton were also married in St Mary’s Parish church in Bideford April 07,1811.

I found George Harris birth details on find a grave.com He was born Coombe Bassett, Wiltshire, and 1842 has sister Betsy born Gwennap Cornwall. Annie next siblin born 1843 Prince Edward Island.I think he died in Iowa

I have checked birth registrations for a George Harris. Coombe Bissett is Alderbury Reg. district. There are two born 1840 but neither has maiden name of Goss. Have also checked all birth reg for a George between 1838 and 1842,but none have GOSS recorded as maiden name. Sally
