Hi Judith, I have not found the Harris or Goss Families in the Bideford area 1841 Census and they are also not found in 1841 Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia Census. Robert Goss (grandfather) is on the Prince Edward Island 1881 and 1891 census. (there were no census between 1841 - 1881) The Harris family shows up in the Mineral Point, WI USA 1850 Census. I also have the manifest from 1848 from Nova Scotia to Boston with the Harris Family on the passenger list. 3 of the children were born on PEI - but it looks like they were baptist since there are no birth/ baptism records. Which is why I am looking for records that they left Bideford to Canada somewhere in the 1840-1843 range.
