If the baptism is in the residence of the grandparents and/or the parents, I think it unlikely that they would have been able to pass the child off as theirs.
It would have been difficult (though not impossible, I concede) to conceal a pregnancy, and the priest/vicar would presumably not have been fooled.
The age of the grandmother would also be a factor. Would they have been too old to have given birth?
