Hi, I'm looking for family of a Katherine Wootten (who has been recorded as a Wodden on her marriage cert to a Thomas Saunders in 1603 in Shebbear). She died 1642 in Shebbear but I cannot find her birth record (supposedly also Shebbear) and the marriage entry did not have any parents names. Marriage cert said she was born in 1584 but I am sceptical of this as her husband was also born this year and may have been an entry error. I have details of her two children but have hit a brick wall going back on her side of the marriage. Any suggestions on where to look next would be appreciated! Or indeed if anyone has any knowledge of Shebbear and the Woottens / Woddens that may help that would be wonderful! Thank you, Trish
