The photo's were well received by the media so maybe someone can convince him that a photographer present is not such a bad thing. I just don't like the room they use for it. I would prefer it if he started using the room next door: the white hall or small ballroom. Than the new ambassador would enter the State vestibule of Noordeinde Palace, go to the room on the right (Pieter Postchamber) before going up the king's staircase and than go through the balconyroom (that is used now) into the larger white hall. It would be fantastic if the thrones of TM's would be placed on a dais against the backwall. That would make for a more impressive ceremony.
