I have just found a listing of royals present at QV's coronation. It lists the Duc de Nemours as present, but doesn't mention King Louis-Philippe. I think the man with the two chains is the King's son, rather than the King himself, which would make sense given the tradition that sovereigns don't attend each other's coronation. As well, the man in the portrait appears younger than the King would have been at that date.
