The golden coach looks quite graceful, but it is said to be very uncomfortable to ride in because it sways from side to side and bumps along. I think the Queen decided after her Gold Jubilee that she had ridden in it enough. It is an amazing contraption, though, and I suspect it will make its appearance at the next coronation.
