Welcome. The robe made for Queen Mary, as Princess of Wales, in 1902 was included in the 1973 exhibition I have mentioned here before. It is interesting to note that Queen Mary wore it at the Delhi Durbar. The booklet says the original ermine has been replaced by imitation ermine.
That purple robe has quite a history.
