A word of warning to posters seeking online, and other sources for details of this coronation: the King was operated on to remove his appendix and his coronation had been postponed from 26 June to 9 August.
Unfortunately, many of the published sources were not updated for abridgement of the service and ceremony due to the King's frail health.

From The Crown Jewels 1998, "...the Archbishop had been instructed to leave the heavy St Edward's Crown on the altar and use instead Queen Victoria's State Crown of 1838, which was much lighter".
