Excellent! from Queen Victoria's own diary.
She seemed to me to be modest about the changes of garments so she retired to St Edward's Chapel to undergo that.
I had been wondering if the Supertunica was too long for her at 55 inches.

Her description of the Colobium Sindonis is delightful - "a singular sort of little gown of linen trimmed with lace".
