A little more on this garment.
I have discovered that Sindonis means linen.
For the 1953 coronation this garment has been confused with the white one worn over the Queen's dress for the Anointing.
Both The Crown Jewels 1998 and the Royal Collection link identify that garment as the Colobium Sindonis.
