They are unable to sell airtime. Like most Brokered AM stations, especially AM Daytimers, the brokered time has imploded. You can thank the Internet and the overall decline of the AM band, the younger people not even knowing what it is. AM Daytimers with no FM translator attached to it have little to no value monetarily or to serve the public.
Someone else might have a more definitive answer, I do not think it is for sale. I imagine they are trying to figure out what to do with it. Fred Eychaner is getting old and they are restructuring NewsWeb (the parent company). Personally, I would not be surprised if they can't find a buyer, they will shut it off, give the license to the FCC and sell off the land where the transmitter/towers are on.
