No one i know under the age of 35 listens to radio. One person cited repetitive music and long commercial breaks as reasons for not listening. All of their music is on their phones.
I'm pushing 60 and my primary source of music is from YouTube with many Playlist that I curated. I also have a flash drive full of music. Satellite Radio is a better option than terrestrial radio. I will listen to livestreams of the Score and ESPN 1000, but the internet offers more and better options than terrestrial radio. IHeart, Audacy, and Cumulus have turned radio into a cookie cutter operation. CHR sounds the exact same all over the country, as does Classic Hits. CLASSIC HIP HOP, Hop Hop. Classic Rock. Hot AC. It's a shame what's happening to this medium.
