Hubbard is covering a format no one else is. What do they go to another format already covered and the share of the pie is nearly eaten? Another White based Classic Hits like LS and DRV? Another Hip Hop station? Another version of CHR? I believe it is less and less relevant to flank 101.9 anymore. As time goes by, there is less of a pool of listeners which are P1. It has begun. Best path is to stay put on WTBC and ride it out.

Furthermore, the whole B96, KISS, MIX at some point has to break. Someone has to change formats or tweak hard to fill a niche of CHR. There are not enough young listeners to support all these stations, the ears are gone. Also, look at the HOT100 and airplay lists. There is limited new product. Songs are lingering for 1+ years. Then again, flip to what? Go back to the WTBC discussion. 🤷🏻‍♂️
